Seagreens® Brand Partners


 

More than 75% of our manufacturing customers are Brand Partners, which means that they identify the Seagreens® ingredient in their products by our brand name.

This is entirely voluntary. 

It benefits consumers because they have direct access to the independently certified nutritional profile of our seaweeds supported by two decades of pioneering development.

It is re-assuring for you because there are all kinds of seaweed producers from China to Chile and from the Kola Pensinsula to Cape Town.

Fewer than a handful have anything like Seagreens® standards and from time to time become the concern of regulatory authorities and the media.

The Seagreens name normally appears in the ingredients section on product packaging and/or in associated information. 

In rare cases we joint-brand products, particularly in markets where seaweed is a relatively new ingredient.

Brand Partnership affords unique accesss to our continuing nutrition and composition data and research, supporting NPD, QA and marketing.

We also work with brands which have a policy of no subsidiary branding, who then make no reference at all to Seagreens®.

We work with retail brands like Waitrose, with their NPD consultants and contract manufacturers, and with many smaller independent producers like Pukka, now owned by Unilever.

We work with many health nd nutrition product manufacturers like Viridian in England, KeyPharm in Belgium, Bioteekki in Finland and Tisso in Germany.

We supply our ingredients in many countries in Europe and the USA and further afield, together with local Distribution Partners who are members of our Consortium, Seagreens® International Partnership.

Today, in a single store in the UK, you can find many excellent products containing Seagreens®, the fruit of our founding aim, "To get a little of the very best seaweed into the population daily diet".

The Seagreens® project today includes its Partners and Customers in Seagreens Trust and has developed five production sites in the British Isles and Nordic region, which again is necessary and re-assuring since no-one should have all their eggs in one basket.

The bottom line is that when you choose Seagreens®, your customers know what they are eating.
