Seagreens® continues to develop its own quality standards through meticulous care and preparation from plant selection, through harvesting to production, storage, delivery, documentation, and technical support to food manufacturing standards.

They became Europe’s first Organically Certified, ocean-to-table seaweed producer in 1998 and today no other producer is Certified in Europe and the USA in line with Biodynamic® and EU and NOP Organic standards.

As a result of its own early programme of original seaweed food research, with academic and food industry partners, Seagreens® has set up the Seaweed Health Foundation, an independent, not-for-profit research and information forum based in Yorkshire.

Beyond the mandatory Organic standards, Seagreens® is additionally Certified free of ocean-borne contaminants, toxic metals and microbial pathogens - an assurance which even organic vegetables don't offer!

No allergic reactions have been found in more than 10 years of use, there are nomedical contra-indications, and Seagreens® are compatible with drug, herbal and nutritional supplement protocols. Many practitioners attest to their usefulness as a foundation to most therapeutic nutrient protocols.
