Initially harvesting wild seaweeds for horticulture, Seagreens® was set up in 1997 to focus on human nutrition, with specialist harvesting among the remote Lofoten archipelago off the Lapland coast in Norway. The Norwegian factory was sold and has reverted to horticultural production. All of Seagreens' production is now in Scotland with a new factory on the Isle of Lewis, and with Crown Estate harvesting rights among the beautiful islands of the Outer Hebrides.
