In February 2012, Seagreens' longest established product, the wild seaweed Food Capsules, were voted 'Best VMS Product' by consumers and healthcare practitioners in CAM LIfestyle magazine, Britain's leading complimentary medicine magazine for consumers.

The previous year, Seagreens newest product, The Mineral Salt - an organic seaweed and salt combination - was voted overall Winner in the CAM Best New Product Awards. It was also was Highly Commended in the London Free From Food Awards and voted Best Organic Product by readers of Healthy Living magazine.

Seagreens production in the Scottish Outer Hebrides has received a Crown Estate Business Award and in 2011 an Environmental Sustainability Award from the Scottish Environmental Protection Agency and Scottish Natural Heritage.

The independent Seaweed Health Foundation, set up by Seagreens with its industry and academic partners during the past two years, has gained its first research award for a study in obesity.
